Is 1.7mm of rain a lot?

Is it okay for the lawn to get a lot of rain 3-4 days after applying weed and feed?

• I'm planning on using Weed and feed( spray bottle ) on my yard while there's a break in the long rain which is around 3-4 days clear but after that it's going to be pouring rain every day and I was wondering if this would affect the weed and feeds potency or you know not kill the weeds good enough. it says on the bottle to not water or mow the grass for 4 days after applying but this is a lot of rain I'm talking about here..... every day.

If it does rain or the lawn gets drenched, it will wash the granules off the leaves. In this case, however, you cannot re-apply the chemical immediately because you will over-feed the lawn and potentially cause a chemical scorch.
