Never been on a roller coaster, but going to a theme park. Help?

Roller Coaster Peer-pressure?

  • I'm going to go to a theme park this year, as a school trip. My friends said "lets go on every ride there." I said "okay" I have a fear of riding roller coasters or anything like that. What shall I do or say? I'm not going to say I'm afraid or wont go on a roller coaster, it would damage my image. I haven't given in the money, or the consent form yet. Help? Last year, I was in the same scenario, but I didn't go and told them I had a 'dentist appointment' what do I do this year?

  • Answer:

Just don't go.. Say your parents couldn't come up with the money or if you don't wanna seem poor, say you lost your consent form or turned it in too late but make it seem like you're upset cause if you make it seem like you don't care then they'll think you were scared anyway

Other answers

Just go, stick with another person who doesn't like rides. It's impossible to say that you're the only one who feels this way. Or, go and then get "really into" the games section. Just bring lots of change.
