How tall do you have to be to become a model or actress?

  • I really want to become a model or actress but i really need to know how tall you need to be to become a model or actress. If i can become tall enough to be an actress or model i would start working on my career but i need to know how tall you need to be. Any1 please help me how tall do u have to be to become an actress or model?

Runway models usually have a minimum height of around 5'8 (correct me if i'm wrong) but swimsuit/catalogue/promotions ( and hand, feet) models can get away with being shorter. Actresses can be any height so as to fit with different casts.

There is no height requirement for actresses. All that matters is your talent. There are plenty of petite actresses - Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Sandra Bullock, Natalie Portman, Sarah Jessica Parker, Salma Hayek, Rooney Mara, Christina Ricci, Ellen Page, Rachel Bilson, Eva Longoria, Jada Pinkett Smith, Kristen Bell, Audrey Tatou, etc, etc are all 5'4" or under Runway models need to be at least 5'7" with VERY few exceptions like 5'7" Kate Moss

For a fashion/runway model you need to be at least 5'8, but most are taller If you're short you could model something else like catalogues or commercials or something

there is no special height requirement to be an actress. you need to be more worried about do you have any acting talent,not how tall you are.
