Can I go to college and be an EMT at the same time?

Can I go to college at Auburn online and be active in the Navy at the same time?

  • I have a good chance of getting into Auburn but I'm going to be in the Navy full-time soon. I'm not sure what to do.

    I would put in to go to a Navy academy . Grotten is a good one . And you will get top line education there . And you can retire with 20 years and have a nice check every month and 100% medical and fly space A round the world staying on bases round the world . The wife and I have done it two times . I am retired Coast Guard . And have not regretted it one time when I see all the people that are out of work or working for a company that might go under in a weeks time . And they have to worry about that pay check not coming in . .

you will not be allowed to take outside classes while in initial entry training( Boot camp and A school) and for a year after you reach your first duty station.. you are required to spend your free time getting qualified in your rating( and some COs also require ESWS too) figure about 2 years after you ship before you will be allowed to start taking college courses.

Yes, you can take online courses in your free time, but it may be hard to find a place to access the Internet while you're on a boat in the middle of the ocean.
