  • im 15 and let's just say i do not have a very "clear" skin before, my forehead used to have a lot of acne but not its gone now, my cheeks and my neck(also near my ear) have acne. my cheeks dont really have a lot and the acne are just small but i want it gone. everytime i look in the mirror, it seems like my cheeks are messed up. its like the skin is different from the rest of my face. it has like little holes :( also when i look in the mirror, my cheeks seem lighter than the rest of my face (not really extremely light, but the skin looks different) my neck also suddenly have an acne, even the part near my ear. i also have acne on my chest, the acne are small but it bothers me.. I use clearasil for cleansing then apply acne free repair lotion after that. how can i get rid of acne? also, how can my cheeks becomes clear/smoother? btw, everytime i go to school, i apply clinique acne solutions liquid make up to kinda hide acne scars/acne. i dont apply too much and i rinse it immediately when i get home

    The only natural way to heal your acne is through diet. Many acne sufferers tend to concentrate fully on topical agents for their skin. A body pulls all the acids and dumps them into the lymphatic system, since this is your body's "sewage system" there has to be an outlet for all the sewage to be eliminated. When acids accumulate there, the lymph fluid becomes sticky, sluggish and coagulates. Hence, the kidneys are overworked in trying to filter this mess out. It is said that the skin is our 3rd kidney - it picks up the slack when the kidneys get into a bind. Most all skin problems are mirrors to the health of our lymph, kidneys and even adrenal glands (that sit atop the kidneys). The diet that I would like to suggest is a very alkalizing diet and will reverse the acidosis -- According to total daily caloric intake: 80% fruit and freshly-made fruit juices 10-15% greens 5-10% essential fatty acids Fresh raw fruit is the most perfect food for us even though many people don't eat enough or any at all! Bottom line, the more fruit you eat, the better off your skin and body will become. It's truly amazing! I know this diet may seem a bit radical, not do-able or not being all-inclusive of the nutrients that we need. When, in fact, the diet that we have become accustomed to and considered the "norm" are actually a radical type of diet for humans. The diet mentioned above is what we are designed to eat (anatomically and physiologically). Because we are a society that has veered away from this diet that we are meant to eat, we have become more susceptible to illness, disease and all around unhealthiness. It's no different with acne. If you try this diet, you will begin to see some remarkable results with not only your acne clearing up (and your skin will actually become clear as a bell), but you'll have so much vitality and your overall well-being will improve greatly! 1. Stop scratching in the shower. And never pop acne. 2. Drink more water. Have a glass when you wake up, and throughout the day. Water will filter out out the skin. 3. Take cold Showers. This was a break through in curing my own acne. When you take hot showers the skins gets aggravated. Cold Showers are great for the skin. just type in "Cold Shower Benefits" into google. 4. If you cannont bring yourself to take a cold shower. Then don't take HOT showers and avoid staying in the shower over 10min. hot showers are terrible for the skin. Don't let it hit your face for long. 5. Eat more Greens. Eating right is very important when healing acne. 6. Drink Less Dairy. Dairy products carry hormones. These hormones aggravate acne. This was the second leading cause of my acne 7. Exercise if you are already not. Even a brisk walk will do. Circulate the blood flow 8. Get more sleep. the body repairs it self during sleep. Simple as that 9. You can continue using your acne cleanser if you really want to. But honestly, acne cleansers just strip away the natural oils on your face. I found that acne products just gave me more acne, cold water was my acne product. 10. Change your pillow case more often. 11. Sleep on your back. When you sleep on your face the skin cannot get air and may cause a breakout.
