How long should I wait after an interview to call?

  • I went to an interview on tuesday at CVS for a pharmacy technician. It seemed like it went well and they were interested in hiring me, he said he would call me in a couple of days.I waited for three days after the interview and still no call so instead I called them to thank them for their time and follow up and he said he has a few more interviews left to go and then he will give me a call. It has been a week since then and still no call. Do you think I should just wait for them to call me or should i call them again? I don't want to be a bother but I really want this job. Any help would be appreciated :)

    Interviews are always the first place to make a good impression. You should call back after the weekend. Then simply ask have they made a decision on the people they wish to interview again. If its not you you should bold ask was there anything that didn't impress them not to invite you back again. That way you will exactly what they where looking for and what to improve on for your next interview.

Don't keep calling them, it makes you look impatient. Some places will throw out applicants who call after their interview. It just shows that you can't wait for them to make a decision. Just wait for them to call you. Besides, you've already called once, and that's enough.

You should have asked when they plan to fill the position but I know how crazy busy a pharmacy is so just call and ask if the position has been filled.
