How do I deactivate my Facebook account until after exams?

How can my friends know when I deactivate my account on Facebook?

• For some time now I have struggled with deleting my account on Facebook. Though I despise the site, my "friends" insist I keep an account there - especially on the few occasions I have tried to deactivate or delete permanently my account. When I try to do so, however, at least my sister receives a notification I have left the site. She claims she is able to do this through the Facebook settings and even gets messages by mobile. I am curious as to how this is the case, because I have not received any notification for other people who have left the site. Needless to say, this is only another reason to be less than fond of the site.

  they will know if you play games instead of your face it will be blank if ther your neibor and when they type your name you cant find it and no fce book wont noticify you if your friend left unless you hack to her account and if you permantly delete face book im preety sure you email facebook
