How to complete GCSE's in own time?

Should schools be making students do their gcses and go to school at the same time?

  • it is really stressing me out having to go to school and do them at the same time i have school next week and monday i have a music gcse. is this right? shouldnt we be finished by now if we have exams and should they force us to go to school too because i dont feel it to be right. usually gcses are when youve finished school i'm a girl and i'm 16 years old and i'm in year 11 about to take my gcses next week and the week after. could i just not go even though school hasnt finished and will it come out of my attendance if i dont?

  • Answer:

Problem is, GCSEs are getting earlier and earlier. It used to be that they were just about all after half term - and that was when study leave started. My daughter had one before Easter! And another one before she went on study leave. Her school do say that you are not expected to be in lessons on a day when you have an exam. And she's on study leave now. On the bright side, you'll have finished WAY before exams used to finish.
