How do you record ppvs on to your computer?

I played space invaders on the computer and I beat the world record. Does it count if its on the computer?

  Pretty sure it wouldn't count for the Guinness Book Of Records, since the scoring could be different, the speeds could be different, and there's no way to reliably control any of the potential variables that could come up. World Record attempts usually have to be supervised. Still, can't hurt to submit it to them, and see what they say.
