• What would be another name for this? Ok, so I got 'groomed' by an older man (he is 49, I am 16.) Creepy much? YES. Anyways, they said that 'grooming' is practically making hum trying to make me trust him so he can have me for 'sexual stuff.' However, he KNOWS I didn't trust him and was starting to mistrust him more, and I know for a fact that he didn't want me for 'sexual stuff.' He wanted me to marry him, and to fall in love with him. *shudder*. So basically he would kiss my neck, hold my hands for LONG periods of times, hug me for EVER...he never touched me inappropriately, but he was just creepy...and like, totally in 'love.' He proposed to me, and he would ONLY do this stuff when I was alone. He would also stroke my hair, tell me I am beautiful, and say he loves me. So I went to the Family Safety Network, they said that he done three crimes in the things he has done to me, and that he was 'grooming' me. I just wanted to know if there is another name for this, because the description of grooming doesn't fit quite right. It wouldn't be 'sexual harassment' because he never wanted the sexual stuff...is there ANY other name. Thanks guys. :) BTW - I did turn him in to the cops...but we doubt he will go to jail :/ BUT he isn't allowed near me, so no worries. :)
