Pros and cons of Affirmative action?

Cons: -Gives minorities and women an unfair advantage over white males who busted their asses to get good grades and experience. The result is poor productivity and in cases where lives are at stake, the result can be more injuries or death (such as hiring pilots with Affirmative Action). Also, there will be anger among white males, because they worked hard to get where they are and competed with everyone else, whereas the minorities and women got a free boost to the top thanks to Affirmative Action and competed far less and passed fewer hurdles. -Pisses off minorities and women who busted their asses to be as good as or better than the average white male. One black female worker worked very hard to get to her job, while the other got the same position for free... thanks to Affirmative Action. The first black female will be mad and bitter, and rightly so. The most vocal opponents of Affirmative Action are women and minorities who WORK HARD to get the good jobs they have. They hate to see other people get those jobs easily due to Affirmative Action. Pros: [insert cricket sound here]
