Make-up for acne scars?

Acne scars and makeup help PLEASEEEE!?

  • Soooooo I have some really noticible acne scars. On May 19th I'm going to a BIG family and friends event and I want my skin to look perfect especially because my crush is going ^.^ He's only seen me from afar so I'm pretty sure he hasn't seen my acne scars upclose especially because I cover it up with makeup :/ I make it look natural but trust me I use a butt load of it. Someone please help me! I have 11 days to get beautiful skin! ALSO I am going to wear some makeup on that day so what look should I go for because by that date I WILL have better looking skin! I'm only 14 so please don't make me go out and buy stuff! I'm poor D: lol

    Gabby I'm fifteen I have scars on my cheeks I know what your going through. So far I've been mixing oatmeal, vinegar oil (A DOT!), a little lemon, and honey and its done WONDERS on my skin! I put it as a mask two times a day (morning or afternoon and night) for one hour or more. Your going to break out a little but its only because you're on your hormonal years like myself. Also drink lots of water and eat more healthy (Vitamin A and C are best for your skin). Trust me I've changed my eating habits and OH MY GOSH it really works! Oh and the makeup... don't wear it. It has chemicals which can damage your skin (did you know that Cheetos are chemically made? That's why they make you get pimples). Don't wear any makeup your young and beautiful even with the acne. I hope I helped my daily routine really worked.

Hey im 14 too! lmao. but you should definatly try a deep face scrub. preferably the grainy kind. it helps soften you skin. And you can also try Aveeno lotion. It helps make it soft, and moisturizes it. Its about 80cents at target/walmart/walgreens just get the travel size. You should deffinatly go to liquid foundation to cover it up. Dab it on, dnt smear it on your face. just tap it on so it looks natural. Dont use powder because it will make you look caked face. After you do foundation, add a little blush so you dont look so fair. For makeup you can try a really simple eye look. peach as base, brown on lid, dark brown in crease or white as base, grey on lid, dark grey in crease. add eyeliner to the water line on the bottom. and maybe a little mascara t make your eyes pop. Always go for the eyes, because thats where they most likely look. Hope i helped

I'm not sure about acne washes and scrubs. I think that they are work the same and they all suck! I do know of a good foundation though! It goes on nice and covers everything! And it doesn't look Cakey. It's by Estée Lauder. It's called double wear. Tip: press with a sponge with some of that make up on it right over the blemishes themselves and it'll like totally cover it! The powder they offer with it is also soft and really comfortable on the skin. This is very good make up. Don't over use, a little goes a long way! Look into it (:

i'm 15 too i wear clinique acne solutions makeup and its great, if you really want coverage you should really buff it into your skin and just add more where you need to. and make sure to set it with powder if you could buy something you should get a heavy duty concealer or a primer of some sort that will help fill the pores. as for eye makeup you should totally keep it natural with neutral shades but it depends on what your wearing or what you like :) something that will catch his attention but don't overdo it i would wear 'no makeup makeup" search it on youtube just enough to make you look great but no one will know your wearing all that much! lol sorry for the blabble look on youtube for some pretty neutral makeup
