What size twin tips are ideal for me?

If i have edelbrock headers with 2.500inch collector diameter what size muffler should I go with? size tips?

  • i was going to do TRUE DUAL i was thinking a 3inch mufflers (flowmaster super 44), the 3inch ones were the ones their website said to go with and then depending on what size muffler what size tips should i go with 2.5 to 3.5 or 3 to 4 or 3.5 to 4.5?     Depending on what you are working on, I would just stick with the 2.5in exhaust. As far as the tips go its up to you on the size. Just don't put smaller tips than the diameter of the exhaust thats on there. I have a 73 nova, 383 stroker and I have a 3in collector on my headers but reduced to 2.5in and its great. Those super44's sound great too.
