Is it possible to play Final Fantasy X on your PC?

Is there a guaranteed legal way I can play Final Fantasy XII through a ROM emulator on my pc?

    Most emulators are legal, but using a ROM file - even if you own the actual game - is still technically illegal. (violates the DMCA and copyright laws) If you had a legal emulator that used an actual FFXII game disc, that would (technically) not be illegal. PS2 is $99. FFXII is probably $10-15 from eBay or Gamestop - or just do what my friend did and borrow it from a friend. Most emulators are free - don't pay for one, as they're notoriously finicky bits of software. Otherwise, Sony IS starting to release PS2 games for later models of the PS3 that wouldn't normally be able to run PS2 games (like the Slim) unfortunately they're probably going to charge $30 for a FF title, which is pretty ridiculous for a game that's, what, 5 or 6 years old by now?

PS2's are actually $30 at the local Gamestops where I live, might just be a temporary sale, I doubt it though. The game itself, not sure how much it would cost, but I know that PS2 emulators don't really work that well. Plus, it's a great game to play on a big flatscreen, with surround sound.
