How do your connect a Wii to the internet?

How to get Netflix to connect to the internet through my Wii?

  • My wireless internet connection is not the problem, because every other device will connect properly. When I start Netflix through my Wii, I know that it is connecting to the internet because it shows me the shows in my instant queue. When I try to stream a show, it says "Netflix cannot connect to the internet. Please try again or visit netflix.com/tvhelp". The problem is, after malfunctioning for awhile last night, it did stream a show. Now today it won't. Netflix works fine on my computer and my Nintendo 3DS, but for some reason the Wii isn't streaming. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thank you!

    You have several options: 1. Go to netflix.com/tvhelp on your computer 2. Update your Wii system (go to Settings and click on Wii System Update) 3. Call Nintendo Tech Support (the number is 1-800-255-3700 if you live in North America) Best of luck! Hope I helped.

Have you tried deleting the channel & reinstalling it? There's an update for Netflix in the Wii Shop Channel.

I'm not sure how to fix it but maybe you should go to netflix.com/tvhelp maybe there is an answer there. And also..... There's netflix for the 3DS? Wicked!
