Do I need help with ski sizing?

New ski's Need some help?

  • Hi guys I am looking to buy ski's for the first time I want to start learning freestyle I weigh around 76kg and I am about 5'9" tall. I have been looking around for deals as it is end of season but I am unsure what ski to go for. I am on a tight budget of about 250-300 including bindings. I am thinking of buying the k2 armada but I don't know weather these are too advanced for me... Anyway i'm just looking for some general advice on what ski/size and also maybe some boots. Thanks Very much. http://www.edgeriders.com/k2-ski-obsethed-169-mens-skis-2011-19525-snowboard-kite-wakeboard-shop.html

  • Answer:

get line skis. there very durable, get some good speed, and are super light. get tight bindings and put the weight of the binding a little bit above ur weight. Armadas are ok but more or less u probably want them because u here the name a lot. there are better skis than the armada its just the popularity.fok make sure you get twin tips, get them hot waxed. and most of the local ski places have a before season sale.
