How hard is it to lose the weight after a second pregnancy?

How hard is it to lose the weight after second pregnancy? I'm afraid of gaining too much weight during second pregnancy. When I was pregnant with my daughter I gained about 35-40 pounds. Now she is 2 and I still am not at the weight I used to be before I had her. I am not really fat or anything but a bit overweight. We are trying for another baby now and I'm afraid of gaining too much weight with the second pregnancy especially since I haven't lost all the weight from before.I am ok with tge way I look right now it's not my ideal weight but I'm ok with it but I'm afraid of gaining too much weight with second pregnancy and not being able to take the weight off Is it harder to lose the weight after the second pregnancy? How many women are happy with their weight after having 2 or more kids? How many women have been able to take most of the weight off?

I cant comment as I only had one pregnancy but my daughter had 2 and lost weight ok after her second, my friend has had 8 pregnancies and lost weight ok after all pregnancies, Good Luck
