How can i stop my 10 year old from crying?

wow...well well well...i was not born or near born in the 50's, but i still want to try to see how people lived back then. There isn't anything wrong with your daughter, she just appreciates the 90's and that's the kind of person she is. It's not like you can change her mind and make her like 2012. She would eventually stop. Might you miss your early childhood years? Or maybe would you want to experience a generation that you did not get to experience and born after? But if it's really bugging you, how about this. Do something such as a 90's style thing in your home at least 1 day, and put on some 90's music which probably can be found on youtube. For the 2008/09 thing, show her some old photos of herself, and try to relate now to what you did back then with her, try to do the stuff you did in 08/09 with her.
