What are the purple lumps?

What are these white hard creamy lumps?

  • I know that the main advice is going to be "take your cat to the vet", so just to let you know I intend to, but for now the vet isn't open and I'm curious. So, I'm not sure if it's my cat who is making these, but I have a very clean house and yesterday and today I have found several mystery white lumps around the place. These lumps are about 5mm in diameter, kind of hard but when you press it with a tissue (yes, I know, eew) it's creamy, and they are kind of creamy white. It's not worms because my cats have had them in the past and I know what they look like. They are just gross lumps which I'm assuming one of my cats are making. Neither of my cats are behaving differently and they are both nuatered (one male one female) Does anyone know what this might be?

I remember finding a load of those sorts of things in the garden when I was a kid. Maybe the cats are just bringing them indoors? I think they're insect eggs or something

Do the lumps look like white beans? Be careful to check for any turning brown or having legs, these would be ticks. Are the lumps just around the house or on your kitties?
