I Want to Build a Good Gaming PC?

I want to build a Gaming PC with a £500 budget?

• I really want to migrate from X360 onto a PC platform but at the moment only have £500 max to spend on parts. Also i hardly have any knowledge on the components needed to make one other than the fact i know an i5 processor is just as good as a i7 processor for gaming and not sure if AMD is the way to go. I'm also not sure but the games i want the PC to hopefully run would Tf2, Battlefield and Guild wars 2 (when it comes out) :3. Another thing I have a 22" monitor if it helps to know what graphics card i need, even though some websites let you customize your own PC i feel they are charging too much and that i could probably make one for cheaper any thoughts and help would be Much appreciated. <3

  Like yourself, I'm not a master at components or anything like that, but I'm pretty sure you could make a decent computer for about £400. For games like Tf2, you can just lower the unnecessary graphics settings (like Shadows - that makes the game run a load faster). My laptop was £350 2 years ago and I can play games like TF2, Just Cause 2 and Crysis! It's just a matter of finding the best deals at the best shops. Hope this helps. :)
