Printer and photo paper advice?

Printer and photo paper problem? Help please?

  • I have a Canon Pixma MP145 printer that is quite a few years old, but pretty much reliable. I tried a newly-acquired Esyink 4R Glossy Photo Paper on it, but every single time, it gets stuck and the paper refuse to proceed down the roller. I'm not sure of what to do, cause' I have a stack of the paper. Don't want them to be wasted. I'm wondering if it's the surface of the paper or something. Or the different brand which is not compatible. I have already tried going on a maintenance check with the rollers and stuff, but there's nothing wrong with it. I've also set the preferences in the printer well, from the paper size to the type of paper, so I don't understand what's wrong. These are the photo paper details: 4R - 4" x 6" 5760 dp, resin coated, water resistance, 260 g/m^2. Please give me detailed suggestions on why the photo paper gets stuck and how can I repair this. Thank you, much appreciated. :)

  • Answer:

Sounds as if that one paper does not work.. try contacting Canon and seeing if they recommend an alternate type paper that would suit your needs.
