I am creating a timecard PDF form with Adobe Acrobat X Pro and I need to perform a calculation in a field.?
-
My time card has fields for time in and time out. If the time out field is less than the time in field I want it to add 12 to the time out field. I have the total field set to subtract the time in from the time out to get the total hours worked in that time span. We do not want the user to enter their time in 24h form. Also 1:00 is depicted 1.00, 1:15 is 1.25, 1:30 is 1.50, etc. The fields are number type. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Answer:
Do you know where to start? You can validate and compute the values for form fields in a PDF with Javascript. Maybe this tutorial will help: http://www.planetpdf.com/developer/article.asp?ContentID=6575
