Why is it so hard to get experience as a medical assistant?

Ahhhhh Please help me get a job!? :( Medical Assistant with only externship experience...?

I'll take any job at this point! I really wanted one in the medical field, I've been eye balling classifieds from all these sites, I've sent in resumes but i can't get the experience for the life of me and i really need a job or I'm going to be on my butt....HELP???!

This is why I steer people away from Medical Assisting. There are simply too many schools cranking out grads like it's an assembly line, and the job markets in most cities are saturated with MAs and there are no jobs. Go back to school to become a Registered Nurse instead. You'll have life long job security.
