Why do you need to enter your billing address on amazon.com?

Please Help! I've tried many times!?

  • I want to buy a TV episode on iTunes, I made an apple account, I've never bought anything from iTunes before so when I click (buy) it says (this account hasn't been used in iTunes and you need to review your account information), I clicked review, it took me to a page where I had to fill my info, I chose a paying method, I have a VISA Electron Debit Card, I entered the number on my card, the expiration date, the security code, then entered the billing address (which is my home address), but when I clicked continue it showed an error message saying: (your paying method was declined, please enter valid paying method information) but I entered everything correctly! is it the billing address? what should I do? please help thank you

Have you tried contacting Apple support?

It just told you your payment method was declined. They probably don't accept visa electron debit cards. Try using a credit card or iTunes gift card

Since this is a debit card, is it possible that there was not enough money in your account? I always pick up those prepaid itunes cards to use when purchasing through itunes. They work really easily, and I don't have to worry about how much is coming out of my bank account since I've already prepaid.
