The best way to prepare to be a police officer?

Who is supposed to obey who police officer to soldier or other way around?

  • When a foot soldier is in city limits but in uniform (on duty) who has more dominant power by law a soldier or a police officer?

  • Answer:

On a military base, the only police that have jurisdiction are military police, and, if they have a reason to be there, the feds. But soldiers have to listen to cops off base, just like anyone else (unless, like someone mentioned, martial law is in place)

depends upon the situation and the orders. if it's an off duty cop, and the soldier is on duty, then the soldier has favour. if it's the reverse, the cop has favour. however, if it's an on duty cop and on duty soldier, then the soldier will take the leadership role so long that the cop doesn't get orders from a higher authority

He is off military grounds, he is under civil authority, the military cannot enforce civilian law and the Govt tries to keep the armed forces as far apart from civilian law/authorities as possible. Cops control anything off military grounds.
