How do I get my youtube channel noticed?

I was wondering how to get smaller youtube channel noticed? I have 39 subscribers but im finding it really hard to get noticed esp since most people that have subbed to me have no vids or subs so nobody really sees people wanting to watch more of my vids. its only clips i post right now of call of duty until june or july when i get my HD PVR. so i was wondering until then is there anyway to get noticed? theres no point anymore of trying to advertise on other bigger youtubers videos cause your comment is marked as spam straight away.
