When I dream, does it counted as a deep sleep?

I keep having a dream that I'm being molested in my sleep?

  • Hi, I'm a 14 year old girl. For the past year I have been having sleep paralysis. The first time I had it, a strange thing was standing in the corner of my room. It looks like a misty outline of a person. It started coming closer to me until it started pushing down on my stomach trying to suffocate me. The weird thing is I was "paralyzed" the whole time. Well ever sense then every once and awhile I'll dream this dream but each time it's a little different, but each time he tries to suffocate me. Ex: he'll be on top of me, his hands will pop out from under the bed and start choking me, etc. For the past few months though, it's gotten really odd where he'll lift me up out of my bed magically for a long time and I'm just floating until I wake up. Sometimes in my dreams he'll be very sexual as in rubbing me sexually, squeezing me tight, etc. Get prepared for a TMI But, last night this thing in my dream was BUTT F***ING ME. It was so horrifying and scary and he had his arms squeezed around me. I was laying on my side...I kept trying to wake up but I couldn't and I was paralyzed so I was basically helpless. I ABSOLUTELY can't fall asleep and I'm so scared this dream will happen again... I don't wanna tell my dad.. How awkward would that be "HEY DAD I STRANGE GHOST MAN IS F***ING ME UP MY *** IN MY DREAMS." Why is this happening to me?! How do I get it to stop :( This isn't a joke, and I am so scared to fall asleep

Everyone can have nightmares, stop thinking of it, start thinking good things so you'll dream good dreams also.

My guess is an anxiety problem. You may or may not had some thing to trigger this. I could be a movie or an over active imagination. Sleep paralysis and the hallucinations that follow can manifest in different ways. Some people thing they are being abducted by aliens some have visions of monsters. Molestation or having someone suffocate you is just another thing that your mind sets up. This sounds horrible and I hope it ends. Try to calm down before you sleep and try to fill your mind with pleasant thoughts before you sleep. I hope this helps.
