When a website has embedded your youtube video, do you get views when its watched on that other website?

I noticed my youtube video was embedded onto a website off youtube. I found my video and ws wondering if when its viewed on that website if these views will show on my youtube channel. If not im emailing the website that embeded my video to remove it. thanks!!

It's a tricky thing, actually. My videos are embeded on my site and on my Facebook. The views do not seem to come in right away, but are delayed. This may be to ensure that the views are real. The viewcount actually discourages me when I know people are watching it and commenting on it somewhere else, but I really do feel they are staggered. I may be wrong, but my views seem to come in, even though they are late. Check your analytics report on the video and it will tell you where your video is played back, and if it's from external sites. Mine always includes the views from my website and Facebook EVENTUALLY. BUT, even if it didn't count, take it as free exposure. If people liked you they will check you out through there. If they didn't find you on that site they wouldn't of found you anywhere, so you are not missing out on anything. It's not like they are stealing views. If anything, it's an opportunity and a blessing to be shared by a site with an audience. The views will count, eventually.
