How Do I Contact Yahoo Directory Support?

  • Yahoo no longer provides any support for thier directory products. Problem is they are charging me $100/mo for a sponsored listing and I get an error message when I try to cancel it. I then get sent in circles and was informed Yahoo no longer has email or phone support for the Yahoo Directory and that I needed to visit Yahoo answers. How convenient. Well, actually it's VERY pathetic. I'm a paying customer and I can't cancel a product because you site is throwing errors and you don't have ANY support for the product. HOW DO I CANCEL MY YAHOO DIRECTORY SPONSORED LISTING WHEN YOUR SITE HAS BEEN THROWING AN ERROR FOR DAYS WHEN I TRY TO CANCEL IT? PLEASE GIVE ME AN EMAIL ADDRESS OR PHONE NUMBER I CAN CONTACT TO HAVE IT MANUALLY CANCELLED!

    866-562-7219 (probably you will press 3 in the menu). You will have to hold for a long time but they should be able to cancel. At help.yahoo.com you can Live Chat if you see a purple button that says "Status Online". It is slow to appear since Yahoo laid off 2,000 employees.
