How do you find out who made a website?

How to find an old website made for someone?

  • Hi, My sister passed away in 1999. I can remember her boyfriend at the time made a website in her memory, however I can't remember the site. It would mean the world to my mom if I found it, but I don't know how to even start looking. Dose anyone know how or am I just wasting my time?

    Other than typing your sisters name in google/yahoo/bing im not sure if there is any service which can track a website down. If you find out the name of the boyfriend, through friends and family, they could have his number or other details or at least a name. If you had a picture of the boyfriend you could use his name and check facebook and keep looking through the searches until you find a picture that matches. I think your better off tracking down the old boyfriend or talking to your sisters friends. Hope you find it
