Is there any other financial aid rather than FAFSA?

I submitted my FAFSA application late. How can I receive financial aid?

  • I am a California resident and I have been admitted into UC Davis for the fall semester. The problem is that I filled out my FAFSA late and now I don't qualify for many of the financial aid offers such as the Blue and Gold. I wanted to know if there's anyway in which I can at least get partial assistance for the first year of college and I could just do my FAFSA on time next year. Any programs, grants, or anything like that. My dad makes way less than the average income for CA residents, $30,000 and we're 6 people in my family. I am eligible for aid, but since I filled out my FAFSA late they are only offering me little aid (5,500). Please suggest any programs that you know will help me out with my big screw up -_-

  • Answer:

That's the max that the pell grant pays. You got full pell, be happy. The pell grant does not pay for your entire college career.
