How long is an academic year at university?

Academic Suspension from 4 year University?

• I've been having the worst year in college and failed all my classes the fall semester except for one. I was taking 19 hours and hated school,my major, and my social life. I was put on academic probation from the fall semester. I have never had a lot of issues with school at all and first time I've ever failed any classes in my life. I worked very hard this semester and still wasn't able to achieve the 2.0 again this semester. I just found out tonight and I'm completely devastated and heart broken. Well I've been going through bad anxiety and depression which I do take medication and see health professionals. I also had multiple surgeries and a bad head injury which cause my memory and concentration to be a complete pain. After my head injury I had the worst time focusing on anything and had short attention spans. My parents don't help me much and I do work full time every summer and work part time during the school year. I don't have much financial help so yes I do and can pay my own bills. I have talked to a counselor and we are hoping for another semester of academic probation because my grades do show my hard work and a huge improvement from fall semester. I only failed one class which was my hardest class and achieve B's in the other classes and a C, what else can I do? (Please no rude,unnecessary comments)

  If you are going to appeal, then you need to put everything in there. Talk about your health issues, and any other problems. Make sure you have proof of the health stuff (head trauma, anxiety, etc.) Make sure that you have a plan of action in case you are approved for your appeal. I wish the best of luck to you.
