Which university should i choose for grad school?

• university of central florida, university of florida, university of south florida, or florida state university. i'm concerned mainly with location, since that's what all my professors have been explaining the importance of to us. i'm not looking for something with a lot of night life, just which are is the best to live in. also the campus, which has the best campus? and which would be the most academic oriented for grad school? ultimately i wanted to be able to go to the beach all the time, but i know none of them are too close to the beach, but what has the best outdoors/nature things to do? thanks!!

  Hi Brie. Well, those schools are indeed different and fairly distanced from one another. Did you look up their locations up on Google Maps? That will definitely show you points of interest in the general vicinity of each area, including distance to the beach. Central Florida is VERY different from South Florida. For example, the way people are, the levels of diversity, traffic, population, density, and even the weather believe it or not. Which of those factors are most important to you? Many websites tell you about the climate and population differences of those cities so you can compare. Ultimately, connecting with faculty and current students of your graduate program of interest is your best method of getting the insider's scoop to that's schools academic record and school life.
