How much would a new suspension and new tires cost?

How much would it cost to get big tires for off roading and wheels.?

  • I'm thinking of buying a jeep wrangler and was wondering how much it would cost to get off road suspension and big tires if you know what i mean? I was debating on getting one thats already made like that or a new one and just buying everything myself.

    The price range varies from depending on the year of the wrangler and what company makes the lift kit you want. I wanted to do the same thing for a while and came up with this. If you do the work yourself it'll run you about 1500. If you get it done at a custom shop its around 3000. Of course it can be a lot more if you go for super high end parts and I imagine it can be a lot less if you buy used parts or a preexisting offroader with a burnt engine and you take the full kit off. Also the pathetic little inline 4 that comes stock in a wrangler wont get you very far on big offroading wheels so I'd advise a swap for something punchier. Ie, the 4.6 liter v8 that Ford makes for its crown vics, grand Marquis, and town cars.

New! Anywhere 3000-5000 dollers depending on what you want to do. That pretty much the most expensive machine thing to have and the tires are a big part of it. I would out weigh quality for size.

It depends on the style and brand of wheels and tire but you'll probably spend around 100 to 300 a piece on wheels and 150 to 400 a piece on tires. (dollars that is)
