Java, static variable keeps returning null but linked list shows it exists? ?
-
I created a java program which calls a static variable in another program. The values are stored in a LinkedList. When I print the size of the list it returns the value as it should, but when I try removing the objects it always throws a null pointer. I have even tried accessing the data from inside the original program with the static variable and it still throws the null pointer. The code is too massive to show, so does anyone have any ideas for solutions or possible reasons for it not working?

Answer:
Can you at least show a few relevant fragments of the code? That would be very helpful.
