Why do you think people continue to bully others?

Suicide is not the leading cause of death in people under the age of thirty. The majority of suicides are not directly attributable to bullying. Bullying is a common and informal method of in-group social control. The phenomenon exists in all mammalian animals that are social. Human beings are primates and the alpha males eat first while the runts get whatever is left over. Bullying is a display of dominance and power. Bullies don't want to kill anyone that is why they are bullies and not murderers they just want to appear dominant to their peers.

People feel terrible about themselves and, in return, like to make others feel bad too. It's an insecurity issue that lots of people need to work on. Not only that, but did you know there is 1 sociopath out of every 5 people? Sociopaths don't care about anyone else's feelings except their own. I could never tell a person to go kill themselves, just in case they might. I have been to that low before. People have pushed me to the edge of suicide. Looking back now, I cannot believe I almost listened to them. Clearly, if they're trying to take me out of this world, they must feel very inferior around me. I live, and smile while I'm around them, just to kill them on the inside. It's beautiful, really, the sweet taste of revenge...

The bullies probably have home issues and want to make themselves feel stronger and more superior...
