What kind of jobs can you work injured?

• I just had an arthroscopy done for my ankle and healing is going to take a few months so i cant work on my feet at all. What kind of jobs are out there that dont involve standing? obviously there is desk jobs, but I need something that doesn't take years of college or a college degree. I've googled quite a bit but can't find any decent answers so any help is appreciated, im struggling to help my mother who is sick and I need whatever money I can get my hands on right now, maybe even a work at home job though even those are usually scams.

  Before you try and find a "desk job" you need to be cleared by your Doctor for work in general. If your Doctor can not release you to any job then you ask him to initiate the disability claim so that you can have some kind of income while you are stuck at home. To be honest.... even if you had the qualifications to handle a "desk job" it is very unlikely that you will get hired on because of your existing injury. Of course that will never be admitted but you will find yourself in the "not chosen' pile immediately when you come in limping. Employers just don't want the risk of you aggravating the existing injury while at work because that makes it a workman's comp claim. Does not matter that your surgery was the reason for the problem. If it gets aggravated while you are at work... your new employer inherits the problem.
