How can I get netflix on my ps3?

How do I get 5.1 surround sound on netflix through my ps3?

I can get get 5.1 surround sound with games and blu-ray movies but not for Netflix, I was just wondering if there's some setting I'm missing or something (and yes I have selected movies that have this option and have selected that option for audio)

5.1 from Netflix on the PS3 is problematic. It is supposed to work with receivers that support Dolby Digital Plus, but it does not. If you have a receiver that supports DD+ a bug in the PS3s firmware transcodes it down to standard DD with a 640k bit rate. Neither Netflix or Sony seem to be doing much about the problem. As long as you have the right receiver you will get 5.1, you just will not get what Netflix and Sony claim you should.
