How old do you have to be to stay in a hotel without a parent/guardian?
-
For my birthday, my mom said it would be fine to stay in a hotel with a couple of CALM friends. It's not a super fancy hotel so we need to know if a 13 year old and three 12 year olds. Does she have to stay or can we be alone? (It's a best western hotel)

Answer:
Usually 18 but nice hotels (like the kind with bars and restaurants inside of them) usually have to be 21. Your mom could always get it for you too, doesnt mean she has to be stay there.

Technically you have to be 18 to RENT the room, as in paying for it, its really not in their best interest for them to record what you do in your room or to barge in at 2am. They would never even know you were alone :)
