App Store vs Android Market?

Android Market vs. Itunes App Store question?

  • It costs 100 dollars a year to put up an app on iTunes, and 25 dollars a year to put an app on Android Market. For iTunes, you will get 70% of the money when someone buys your app, and Apple will get 30%. What about for Android? I can't find out anywhere....

  • Answer:

The same on the Android market. Google took 30% and you earn the 70%. I believe almost all competitor will do this way, since they j^st follow the rule of Apple. Apple it's the first App Store which come out this ideas of Developer able to put in their server. so the market share it's great when you target premium users and a lot of credit card it's already register with apple. Android it's a good platform, i dun't really like it. 1. Android stole the ideas of Apple, couple head it's ex-engineer of Apple. 2. Open Source, it's drive a lot of fragmentation of Hardware. 3. Rule not working, i been go to Google Play and found out there is a lot of apps it's break the rule. - Gambling Apps ppl host the apps on the Google Play - ppl also able to host in their site - the controlling it's not work in google, apple it's help you to test that your apps when put on the market it's less bugs. If you wish to join the developer and take part of mobile era it's good to start with the iOS for the premium market.
