How to change icons on Macbook?

Does My Macbook Pro Have a Virus?

  • Ive looked around for a bit online and can not find a solution to my problem. My macbook pro is slowly dying. It started off with my whole top row of keys (letters like Q-P) They just stopped working and then over the next few days when i would change back and forth between programs and windows the animation moved very very slowly, and when I open new tabs they automatically came up as new windows. Then a strange white outline of an arrow apeared above my icons on the top ride side of my desktop screen. And now youtube videos wont play and my sound keys just make a no sound symbol come up. I have Snow Leopard OS X Everything is slow and I feel like parts of my computer are breaking one by one.

  • Answer:

Take it into your nearest Apple store. Apple are extremely good at fixing any problems your device may be having even if it isn't under warranty they will usually try there best to do it for free. If you have the technical skills to do it yourself just reinstall the operating system and be sure to backup your Apps and Documents before doing so. Avoid transferring settings though as these may be causing the issue. This isn't exactly a simple task for somebody who isn't tech savvy though.
