How long will hair grow in 1 year?

How long do you think my hair will grow in a year?

  • At the moment it is between my shoulders and chin, I am planning on only getting it cut it every few months, how long should it be in a year?

  • Answer:

About 6 inches, because hair grow's 0.5 inches a month, not depending on your diet, that meaning if you eat healther foods the hair will grow more. And not to mention you said that you will be cutting it so I'd say in a year it should grow AT LEAST 5 inches. But if you have a great diet possibly a lot more like, 8 inches or more c: Good luck, Miki

the normal growth of hair is every 6 months. When i cut my hair really short for the first time (waist lenght before) at the end of 2006. It grow 2 inches in a year. My hair grow really fast, so now my hair is back to waist lenght again, but i cut my hair an inch annually to get rid off split ends.

it could be from 2-6 inches, it depends on how much sunlight there is, how much you brush and clean your hair and if you heat it(hair-dryer, straighteners). I've found that less heat, brushing more and washing with conditioner has helped my hair grow much more

Hair grows about .5 inches a month. So in a year your hair will grow about 6 inches.
