Where shall I live? London or New York? I married my American new yorker girlfriend last year. I'm English. We live in London and she wants to go and live back in New York for a few years. I like London, what's New York like to live? London or New York? She said it should be fairly easy for me to get a green card being married?

Answer:
It will be ver easy it's the process that will be a total pain. She will need to go back to USA first, get a home a and apply to sponsor you, she will need a job to prove she can support you as well. Biggest pain for you is that you can't join her right away, you will have to stay there and do all the paperwork and interviews at the USA embassy in London. So you will not be able to come to America until around 6-9 months after she gets here. That's why most do fiancé visas

Really depends on "where" in New York you plan on living to be honest. I am from London and spent a far bit of time in New York, and both places are noisy dirty and loud, the UK just has older buildings and history............. As you aer married then a green card is easier to get BUT as she does not seem to be in the USA how is she going to show that she can support you and provide the past 3 years of tax info etc etc.

Youuu shalll live anywhere you wantt (: But New York is really cool i went there for 6 monthes on vocation once with my family and we stayed up in a cabin. It was really pretty there and EVERYONE is so NICE it's crazy (: And its espically gorgeous there in the fall. I think you should live there for awhile! Becuase some people in London talk different but i believe most of them talk English (: But New York is my first favorite place in the U.S. so far. (: Good Luck !

They are about the same as typical big city life. Many cars, traffic jams and 24/7 noise, crowded subway or bus, trash on the streets, expansive rent, etc. http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/types/types_2991.html

Only YOU can decide that. If you are talking about existing, then I suggest you go with your wife's thinking.
