Are there any Wireless headphones for the Apple iPod?

Do all generations of the Apple iPod Touch play music aloud without headphones?

  • My son loves playing music on my iPhone but I'm always scared that he'll accidently call someone. I'm looking for a used iPod Touch of any generation but before I purchase one I want to make sure that the iPod Touch will play music aloud. I've always had an iPod Classic, never a Touch. So if someone can help me out here that'll be great.

    I have an 8 gb second generation and it plays aloud. Also if there is no sim card loaded in the iphone you can't make calls with it either except 911. So if you have an old iphone, take the sim card out and he's good to go. Again, I know this works because I have an old iphone someone gave me with no sim card that I use as an itouch type device. No calling capability.

No. I used to own a 1st generation iPod touch and it didn't have an external speaker. I know that the newest model, the 4th generation, has an external speaker, though. The 3rd generation might also have one, since it's not THAT much different from the 4th generation. It wouldn't hurt to call a place like Best Buy and ask.

Yea they all do you can get a cheap second generation one but the sound isn't quite as good as the 4th. Then again the speakers are useless so you should get a Bluetooth speaker and play music through that just make sure you have wi-fi

I know for a fact that all models 2nd and up have an internal speaker You don't need WiFi to use a Bluetooth speaker
