How To Learn Arabic Dance?

Why can't I dance? How do I learn how to dance?

• For my whole life I've always been a terrible dancer. This goes for both choreographed dancing and freestyle dancing at parties. I can't do either. I'm awkward and I can't move my limbs the way other people seem to be able to. It causes me a lot of emotional pain. When I have to dance I feel extremely uncomfortable and I wish I was dead. I've been told I'm a terrible dancer many times. I try to join in with people dancing but I just can't dance and I look awkward. Even before I was self conscious about dancing I was an awkward horrible dancer. I really want to be able to dance but I'm never able to. Every summer I have to do a choreographed dance with my friends and I have to go to a dance every week for two months. When I have to dance then I always feel like I'm going to have an anxiety attack and I have to hold back the tears. (If you tell me I can't dance because I'm white you can go screw yourself, racist)

  Honey! do not stress because TRUST ME i feel your pain! for my whole life I thought I couldn't dance, and the more i though about it the worse I got and this fear caused me to miss out on a lot of fun! Finally I realized that it was all a mental thing! everyone can dance because we all have a natural rhythm called our heart beat! granted some people are more in touch with their heart beat than others, but still EVERYONE can dance. You just have to start be dancing in the mirror and start by picking a song that really pumps you up so you dance and don't remember to think about what you look like. Dance is a physical thing so if you don't think about it and just go with how it feels than you instantly get a little better! Also if your confident (and NOT cocky) then your dancing will improve even more! Just have an "Im dancing like a freak and I don't care" attitude and everyone will leave you alone! I have faith in you because I have been in your shoes! so get out there and get in tough with your heart beat! <3
