I like London, what's New York like to live? London or New York? She said it should be fairly easy for me to get a green card being married?

  It depends what part of NY you are going to move to. If you are moving to somewhere like Manhattan, it's fairly easy to get transportation, but everything if overpriced. Subways run 24/7. Also, NY has lower taxes (again depends on where you live: taxes are pretty high in Long Island) If you live in the city of NY, you can never be bored at night. Many shops open til very late, and some for 24 hours. But, if you are talking about living in upstate New York, then the houses are very far about there, and it's very quiet and calm. There is much wild life up there.Your girlfriend is right. If you two do get married, and she is a legitimate US citizen, it is very likely for you to get a green card. Hope this helped! ^.^
