How can I get better at singing?

  • I go to an art school. We do all the kind of arts. & I write my own music, lyrics & yeah. My friends tell me I'm an okay singer. & I want to get better so I can sing my own songs & burn them on to a cd. So it's just the songs I wrote. How can I be a better singer?! Help?

    First off you must PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE!!! Any and everywhere... Just sing.. Youtube Vocal Warm yups and learn with that.. Also cut down on the dairy products... The affect your vocal cords.. Most signers like Jessica Simpson and Jlo dont drink milk because it affects their vocal cords.. Good luck! You can do it.. It seems like you have a great amount of drive and determination.
