Would I be allowed to take my French GCSE early?
-
I am currently 13 (in year 8) and at parents evening my teacher said there would be a possibility for me to take my French GCSE early, would I be allowed to with Government rules? My teacher gave me a past paper, foundation tier and I got 42/50 or a C. I know people doing GCSE courses in year 10 who have got B's.So, would I be able to take the GCSE early?

Answer:
Yes, you will. Your teacher will be able to enter you in for the exam board and sort all the details like that out but I would advise doing a higher level paper first. You need to have a good accent and your grammar and spelling should be mainly accurate. You also need a wide range of vocabulary and sentence structures and you may not have learnt sufficient if you are only in year 8
