How to apply my makeup correctly?

• okai, so im 13 and i kno, (i should be using makeup, blah blah blah) but it makes me more confident with all my problem areas and uneven skin. so, i have combination skin (oily t zone, dry cheeks) and i have a REALLY dry forehead because of the acne medication i used. Right now, I have a tiny pimple on my cheek and its REALLY red. Also, I have an under the skin pimple on my chin. Anyway, back to the topic, I use 2true foundation, benefit that gal primer, witch concealer, rimmel pressed powder and all my makeup is oil free. i use a foundation brush, powder brush and all of that. Problem is, whenever i try to apply my makeup, it always looks cakey, patchy or the spots and pimples are more bold. PLEASE HELP! im desperate, i have school tomorrow and I dont know how to make it even. any homemade ways to even my skin out, reduce the pimple redness or the size.
