Mothers day gift ideas :P?
-
As you all know, mothers day is coming up. I wanna give my mom something special, I would get her something expensive but 1. I don't have the money 2. I think it's sweeter to make her something. So with that being said! I need art and crafts ideas, something she could like that would be sweet! I'm open to anything. She puts up with me a lot so he deserves a little something :P Im not sure if if my age helps with ideas, but I'm 16, so I have the ability to make something with paper. I just need ideas! Thanks :)

Answer:
Write her a letter! Last year for mothers day I did the same thing. What makes it even better is if you decorate the paper. I used stained paper and embroidered the edges. The paper looked so cool and it made it even better for my mom that it was a hand written letter from me. To make this paper, get thick, white construction paper. Lay it flat on a table, and spread an even layer of used, moist coffee ground on it. Let it sit like this for an hour or two. Carfully take the coffee grounds off and rinse the paper with water. And sprinkle salt on it. The best kind of salt to use is the bigger grains like the kind you put out side to melt ice in the winter. Leave it like that for 20 minutes and rinse again. Now, put the paper between two large books, or anything that will keep it pressed flat. Leave it like that over night. When its dried it will look like old paper, it'll have that vintage feel to it. Now, to make it more of an elegant vintage, take yarn (any color, I used white) and a large needle. Witch stitch the edges on the paper all the way around. Practice writing your letter on regular paper, that way it looks nicer when you write it on your stained paper. Personally, I'm buying my mom some diomond earrings. They cost $800, but I've been saving for a few weeks. ;) Good luck!

Other answers
Why not a letter from YOU thanking her for all the things she's done for YOU, the sacrifices she's made for YOU? For my 16th birthday, my girlfriend helped me make a nice card (she was and still is an accomplished artist) and helped me write a letter to my mother in that vein. That was 1962. My mother died 2005 and when my sisters were sorting through her things, they found that card and letter. My sister called me crying so hard I could hardly understand her. She sent me the card and letter. I still have it 7 years later. I never knew she kept it.

Make her a t-shirt with your hand print like little kids do. Put "I love my Mommy" on it :) I'm doing this for my mom and I'm 23. She doesn't need anything she's got plenty of money so I just aim to make her laugh
Logistica
Write her a card, just put your feelings down :) it's classic.
